Can I enter the challenge if I have already
shared my #WalkAway story?
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ACCOUNTS WITH #WALKAWAY SOCIAL, FACEBOOK, OR X? DO I NEED TO CREATE ONE?
Yes! We know how you feel about some of these platforms, believe us, we do! BUT, our goal is always to reach as many people on the Left as possible and they frequent these platforms. Plus, #WalkAway Social is our very own free-speech platform! Please, create accounts on each of these platforms and share your video so the masses can see it!
CAN I GO BACK AND EDIT MY SUBMISSION ONCE I SUBMITTED?
Yes, you can. Once you click submit on your entry form you will receive an email confirmation from noreply@jotform.com. From this email click "Edit Submission" to make changes at anytime before October 15th at 11:59pm EST.
CAN I ENTER THE CONTEST MORE THAN ONCE?
No, this contest will be limited to one entry per person. If you have an update, an edit, or new information to add to your submission form after it's submitted, you are able to update it at anytime, up until 11:59pm EST on October 15th by clicking the "edit submission" link in your form confirmation email.
DOES MY #WALKAWAY STORY HAVE TO BE MY OWN OR CAN I SUBMIT ONE BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE?
The #WalkAway story you submit should absolutely be yours and yours alone! If you have a family member or friend with their own story, help them create their own submission!
WHAT IF I AM NOT SKILLED AT CREATING OR EDITING VIDEOS?
Don't feel intimidated! Video production quality is just one of the criteria taken into consideration. The most important criteria is that the content be genuine and heartfelt.
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE LOST MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND HOW CAN I ALTER MY SUBMISSION?
If you have lost the email sent to you from noreply@jotform.com where you can edit your submission, please reach out to us at challengesupport@walkawaycampaign.com, and we will send you a new link. Make sure you get your changes in before October 15th at 11:59pm EST.
CAN I ENTER THE CONTEST IF I HAVE ALREADY SHARED MY STORY WITH #WALKAWAY?
Yes! If you've already shared your video on the internet, you can either use that same video or create a new one! If you use the same video previously shared, you MUST repost it on all of the required social platforms for this challenge and the post date must be between August 15th at 11:59pm EST and October 15th at 11:59pm EST to be eligible. IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM LENGTH MY VIDEO CAN BE?
You can present your Testimonial Video in any way that you want. Your video can be as long or as short as you feel best conveys your Story. You can share your story by talking, singing, rapping, signing, dancing – it’s your story so tell it YOUR way! We encourage you to add your own creative flare.
